Paint & Sip: Still Life with Michael Stamos
Join visiting artist and instructor Michael Stamos for a lively evening of painting, conversation, and creativity. Working from his Brooklyn studio in Industry City, Michael brings a fresh, energetic approach to still life and portraiture that celebrates color, movement, and expression.
In this relaxed, social workshop, Michael will guide participants step by step as they create their own paintings—whether you’re a seasoned artist or picking up a brush for the first time. Come sip, paint, and enjoy an evening of inspiration with a dynamic artist and teacher.

Michael Stamos is a Brooklyn-based painter whose work focuses on still life and portraiture. Known for his fresh, energetic style, his paintings emphasize color, movement, and direct observation.
Stamos works out of his studio in Industry City, where he continues to develop his practice and engage with a vibrant community of contemporary artists. His approach balances traditional subject matter with a modern sensibility, bringing new life to familiar forms.
