What You'll Learn

Old masters—as well as many contemporary—painters have relied on a minimum color palette for painting because the use of it is efficient, beautiful, and fun!

After reviewing the colors, the class will focus on drawing with oil paint (underpainting), and applying color using a direct painting  technique (Alla Prima) by copying a master painting. The class will end with learning how to safely and properly clean materials.

Beginners are welcome!
